We Had come to Bangkok to celebrate my wife s birthday. Somehow the management got wind of this and when we returned to our room after a night out a birthday cake awaited. I was astonished. However, my wife and I felt that the air-conditioner was actually too cold and made the air much too dry. And changes to the thermostat did not make any real difference to the room temperature.
